Get ready for an exciting moment, involving a gaming session featuring tracks from Cercle Records’ catalogue.

The idea?
Determine if and how music has an impact on gaming performance. Does a powerful track develop capacities? Does a soothing track help to relax and to perform better?
Our guests Clémence Maillard (Cercle Team), Miss Monique (DJ) and Zellen Dust (Gamer) will play at Fall Guys, while their gaming session will be analyzed live by researcher Eulalia Febrer Call.
Streamer and content creator Elisa Waves will engage with the guests throughout the session to report to Eulalia how the music makes them feel and to answer questions from the audience.

Last but not least, if you're in the audience, you might even get a chance to join in on the action by participating in the gaming session!
This Lab will end with the session report by Eulalia and a Q&A time with the public.

So, does music affect gaming performance?
The answer is coming soon.

ABOUT CLEMENCE MAILLARD
Clémence joined the Cercle team as label manager. She began her studies at ESSEC, before specializing in a Master’s degree in Music Business. With a lifelong passion for music, she began working at an electronic music radio station while continuing to help small music event collectives. Her interest in the legal world and the challenges of sustaining a label’s economy led her to take on this position. Although she has a fairly eclectic music consumption, she decided to specialize herself in electronic music in a well-known company with which she shares the same values. If the world was meant to explode, she would save her vinyl collections before anything else.

Her research focuses on the role of music in video games and esports, as well as in the pedagogic applications of gaming at different educational levels.
