HOW TO? Fly an FPV Drone
Friday, October 20, 2023
→ 8.45- 10.50 AM (2h05) & 11 AM - 1.05 PM (2h05) (2 slots available)
‣ Lounge, W Amsterdam
Join Cercle's FPV pilots in the W Amsterdam lounge and learn how to use FPV (First Person View) drone technology, the flying device that has durably transformed aerial videography.
Meet Cercle's FPV drone pilots and get the chance to learn from them!
For the past 7 years, Cercle has put visuals at the heart of its musical productions.
One statement: Sound and image are intrinsically linked. FPV drones have enabled Cercle to achieve this harmony. FPV drones are flying devices that are controlled with immersive Virtual Reality headsets. These drones' enhanced agility and capacity to sweep past and through physical obstacles have offered new opportunities for creating and experiencing images, which were seized by Cercle.
Discover for an hour and a half all the basics about these revolutionary drones, and get the chance to use them in a structure built especially for the occasion in the W Amsterdam lounge.
The course will be divided into four parts, starting with an introduction to FPV drone use in various audiovisual environments, followed by a short presentation of FPV's radio controller.
Following this, try being a pilot using a professional simulator and its different modes.
End your session with a fly (DJI Avata drone) around our DJ Booth in the W Amsterdam lounge!
Health & safety first!
A comfortable First Person View screen experience requires an unimpaired sense of motion and balance!
We don’t recommend you to participate in this workshop if you suffer from tiredness, emotional stress, anxiety, headaches, migraines, or earaches.
We recommend seeing a doctor before using the headset if you are pregnant, elderly, have pre-existing binocular vision abnormalities, or other serious medical conditions.
