Cercle & W Hotels present an insightful talk between Annie Norman, David de Valera and Louisahhh.
Three key players in the electronic music scene, three points of view, three testimonies.
A discussion hosted by Frank McWeeny & Sarah Story.

Cercle & W Hotels bring together three figures in the electronic music scene for a conversation about wellness in the industry.
What space for mental health when you’re holding events with a capacity of thousand people, accompanying an artist as a manager, or touring all over the world?
Annie Norman (Anjuna Deep’s Head of Events), David de Valera (Mochakk’s Manager), and Louisahhh (DJ) will deliver their experiences, the difficulties they faced, and the solutions they found.

ABOUT ANNIE NORMAN
Annie Norman is Head of Live Events for London-based record labels Anjunabeats/Anjunadeep and Senior Management at the umbrella company Involved Group.
She manages rapidly growing, vibrant touring brands that are active on every continent and whose event portfolio includes multi-stage destination festivals, live-streamed stadium concerts, club residencies, and more. In 2023, Annie oversaw the successful delivery of 45 events for 150K+ attendees. Since starting at the label in 2018, she has held events at venues such as The Dockyards London, AsiaWorld-Expo Hong Kong, and The Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington State.
Annie is passionate about creating inclusive, safe spaces with dynamic music and well-being programming for the Anjuna family. Her work is to ensure Anjuna’s musical output and brand values are creating transformative cultural moments all over the globe.
Annie finds balance in her demanding schedule through yoga, talking therapies, and an emphasis on collaboration.

ABOUT DAVID DE VALERA
With a career spanning 20 years in the music industry, David De Valera has cultivated an enduring reputation as a straight-talking, skilled manager. As a music professional, he possesses extensive experience in three key touchpoints in the artist's journey: producer – promoter – manager. These skills have been brought to bear over the past seven years for some of the world’s leading artists and events. Alongside this, De Valera is also the co-founder and director of the award-winning digital agency Circulate, an internationally recognized music marketing force.

ABOUT LOUISAHHH
NYC-born, France-based LOUISAHHH is an artist, performer and co-founder of the record label RAAR.  She has making and releasing ‘beautiful and challenging’ work for the better part of the last two decades.  Additionally, LOUISAHHH is a certified Consent Educator, the host of ‘Sober Sex’ podcast, and a proud advocate for mental health and recovery from addiction.

ABOUT FRANK MCWEENY
This event will be hosted by Franck McWeeny, a broadcaster digging beyond the crates, joining the dots behind the dots, and navigating music’s rich narrative. For Frank McWeeny being a broadcaster and DJ is much more than just playing records. It’s about telling the tales around the sounds, celebrating real scenes, cultures, and movements...and sharing his findings with us.

ABOUT SARAH STORY
Sarah Story has always had her eye on the prize. This plucky young broadcaster, DJ, and singer-songwriter has always known who she is and precisely where she’s wanted to be. Her Friday night spot on Radio 1 has given her the platform to be able to support artists old and new and champion more female artists and non-binary people, something that’s extremely important to her. With the ever-evolving music scene and a constant new stream of artists, Sarah feels honored to be at the forefront of that as a new voice on Radio 1, that gets to champion them on national radio every Friday night.
